Egypt assistant coach praises Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal
Egypt’s assistant coach Osama Nabih has praised Al Ahly striker Amr Gamal, saying that he puts more effort than the rest of his colleagues.
Gamal returned to Egypt’s national team squad for the Pharaohs’ upcoming training camp after being repeatedly excluded over the past few months.
When asked about the best striker in Egypt, Nabih said: “All of them are at the same level, but recently Amr Gamal is the one who puts more effort.”
Nabih also spoke about Wadi Degla striker Arafa El-Sayed, who was also included in the Pharaohs’ squad.
“He has played with the national team before under the leadership of Shawky Gharib, and he has been performing so well with Wadi Degla in the last period. I hope he would be an addition to the team and would be capable of carrying out the tasks required of him,” he said in a radio interview.
The Pharaohs will host Togo at Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Tuesday, March 28 in a friendly in preparation for the team’s away match against Tunisia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
