Zamalek refuse to let Aboul-Fetouh join the national team
Zamalek have reportedly refused to let their player Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh join the Egyptian locals national team training camp as they prepare for the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.
The 18-years-old is the only Zamalek player selected by Hany Ramzy for the Benin friendly on March 27, as they prepare for the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers, which will be played in August.
It has been reported that Zamalek chairman Mortada Mansour have refused to let any of his players join Ramzy’s squad due to a dispute between them.
Meanwhile, Al Ahly’s Karim Nedved and Smouha’s Ragab Bakar have picked up an injury during the training camp and Ramzy has decided to replace them with El-Gaish’s Islam Gamal and Hossam Arafat from Wadi Degla.
Egypt is participating in the CHAN qualifiers for the first time and will face Morocco on August 11 in Cairo before facing them a week later in Morocco, with the winner qualifying for the final tournament in Kenya.
