Egyptian locals team lose three more players
Egyptian locals national team and Hany Ramzy face a tough period ahead as they lose three more players ahead of their game against Benin.
Following Al Masry’s clash with Misr El-Maqassa, a car was sent by the EFA to Borg El-Arab stadium to pick up Al Masry’s Mohamed Hamdi to the locals training camp, as he was called up by Hany Ramzy.
However, Al Masry officials snubbed the pending delivery and refused to let the 22-year-old join Hany Ramzy’s squad, to become the second club to do so after Zamalek.
On the other hand, Smouha duo Islam Mohareb and Ragab Bakar suffered injuries and therefore won’t be available for Ramzy’s side to make matters worse for the locals team.
It’s worth mentioning that Karim Nedved picked up an injury during the training camp and was replaced by El-Geish’s Islam Gamal as he won’t be available for the Benin friendly on Monday.
Egypt is participating in the CHAN qualifiers for the first time and will face Morocco on August 11 in Cairo before facing them a week later in Morocco, with the winner qualifying for the final tournament in Kenya.
