EFA fines El-Maqassa, Al Masry following their league match
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to fine Misr El-Maqassa and Al Masry due to social misconduct and the failure to act professionally in the Egyptian Premier League match between the two teams.
EFA’s Competition Committee, led by Amer Hussein, decided to fine both teams less than a week after their clash in gameweek 21 of the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Masry and Maqassa were fined EGP 10,000 each for the lack of professionalism displayed by their coaching staff. Maqassa were fined another EGP 10,000 for failing to appear on the pitch at the intended time before kick-off.
