Meteb excluded from Al Ahly squad against Dakhleya

Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry announced his 21-man squad for the team’s clash with Dakhleya in gameweek 21 of the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

Tunisian left-back Ali Maaloul was excluded from the squad after his late return from the international break. Veteran striker Emad Meteb and Nigerian forward Junior Ajayi will also miss the game due to injuries.

Meanwhile, the squad witnessed the return of the Red Devils’ skipper Hossam Ghaly after recovering from injury. Ahmed Hamoudi and Souleymane Coulibaly were also included in the squad.

Al Ahly, who will be looking to extend their lead at the top, are currently on 52 points, while their opponents Dakhleya are 15th on 16 points, one point above the relegation zone.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel, Mohamed El-Shennawy.
Defenders: Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Naguib, Hussein El-Sayed, Sabry Raheel, Mohamed Hany, Saad Samir, Ahmed Hegazy.
Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Hossam Ghaly, Abdallah El-Said, Amr El-Sulaya, Ahmed Hamoudi, Amr Barakat, Mido Gaber, Momen Zakaria, Walid Soliman.
Forwards: Souleymane Coulibaly, Amr Gamal.

The Red Castle will host Dakhleya at the El-Salam Stadium on Saturday at 20:00.
