Zamalek announce squad for Smouha encounter

Zamalek manager Mohamed Helmy has announced the team’s 18-man squad that will face Smouha in the 23rd round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Helmy, who will be taking his last game of charge as Zamalek manager, has excluded Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mohamed Mossad, and Ali Fathy for lack of match fitness, and Shikabala and Mahmoud Hamdy for technical reasons.

The squad also witnesses the absence of Mohamed Magdy and Ibrahim Salah due to injury, while Salah Rico, Mohamed Nasef, Mayuka, Hosni Fathi, and Ahmed Gaafar are out for technical reasons.

Zamalek Squad: 

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Osama Ibrahim, Islam Gamal, Ali Gabr, Shawky El-Said and Ahmed Abou El-Fetouh.

MidfieldersTarek Hamed, Ayman Hefny, Moruf Yusuf, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Refaat, Mostafa Fathi, Ahmed Tawfik, Mahmoud Dunga.

Forwards: Stanley Ohawuchi, Hossam Paulo, Bassem Morsi.

The White Knights aim to snatch the three points to keep chasing Al Ahly and Misr El-Makasa, who sit first and second respectively. The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 1 at 17:00 CLT.
