Al Ahly boss praises Coulibaly after heroic league debut
Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry cheered for newly-signed Souleymane Coulibaly after he amazingly scored two goals on his debut as the Red Devils thrashed Al Dakhleya.
On his debut, Coulibaly helped his teammates take advantage of Zamalek’s slip after they lost to Smouha as they secured an easy 4-0 win against Dakhleya in the 21st round of the Egyptian Premier League.
“We’re happy and satisfied with Coulibaly’s performance, however, he still has a long road ahead,” El-Badry told the press in the post-match press conference.
The former Al Ahly player and current coach also praised a number of players including Ahmed Hammoudi, Mido Gaber and Sabry Rahil. “We will need the services of a lot of our players in the upcoming period since the team will be playing lots of matches,” he added. “There will be constant players rotations considering that we have six crucial league matches in one month.”
El-Badry concluded by thanking all his players for their determination and efforts to secure the three points seeing that the competition for the title is getting harder. He also sent a message to all players saying that they should always be ready for next encounters as matches in the league, Egypt Cup and African Champions League awaits them.
