international  has joined Indonesian club Madura United after leaving English side Rotherham United last January.

The 35-year-old has signed on a free transfer, after his contract with Championship strugglers Rotherham United ran out last January, making just seven appearances for them.

Madura United will be Odemwingie’s tenth club in his career, as he has had a long career in England, France, Belgium and Nigeria and will hope to impress at his first Asian club.

Former Stoke City and WBA represented Nigeria 62 times, scoring 11 goals, but his last game came in 2014 against France in the round of 16 of the 2014 World Cup.

Odemwingie has won the English Premier League African Player of the year for 2011, when he scored 15 league goals in 32 games with West Bromwich Albion.

The Nigerian will be Madura’s fourth foreign player after Brazil’s Fabiano Beltrame, Australia’s Dane Milovanović, Morocco’s Redouane Zerzouri.

Madura United finished third in the 2016 Indonesian league, seven points behind champions Persipura. The new season is planned to start on April, 15.

Talented Football Players BENEFIT Global-Football, FIFA, The Confederations, the Clubs and National Teams they play for and they enrich the Leagues and Competitions they are an active part of.

Peter Odemwingie – like so many others – was SIMPLY A MERCENARY OUT TO MAKE AS MUCH MONEY FOR HIMSELF AND HIMSELF ONLY – WITH A FORGET THE REST ATTITUDE. His playing career and slide into irrelevance confirms this.

I can’t see Indonesian Football and the Club he joined benefiting from this combination. And Asian Football is definitely not any richer.

Indonesia – WITH SUCH A LARGE POPULATION! – should be DEVELOPING ITS OWN TALENT. And it definitely has it. Indonesia FOR EVERY SPORT IS A DREAM! Unfortunately they appear to be desperate for short-term ‘gain’ instead of INVESTING IN THE LOCAL TALENT that Indonesia is not giving a chance to.

Aston Villa is the Club I support in English Football. As a result of THE MERCENARIES they continue to ‘employ’ AND FINANCE – AT THE EXPENSE OF DEVELOPING YOUTH THAT SUPPORTS ASTON VILLA AND WILL DIE FOR OUR CLUB! – have sacrificed Football for nothing!

We are where we belong ……….. for the time being only I hope! But until someone in a decision-making position starts listening, Aston Villa will remain where we are.

Peter Odemwingie had a lot of windows opened to him. He used and abused them to search for ‘bigger’ Clubs. But, HE WAS NEVER A BIG-CLUB PLAYER! And it shows!

Until Global-Football employs and starts working with People – INCLUDING ME – who know how to Develop, Finance and Market OUR INDUSTRY / OUR SPORT, the Peter Odemwingie’s will continue finding ‘windows’ and jumping through them. Only for THE LOCALS TO DISCOVER ONE DAY – THEY HAD ANOTHER MERCENARY ‘WORKING’ IN THEIR COUNTRY WHO HAS SINCE LEFT TO FIND ANOTHER VICTIM AND HAS LEFT NOTHING TO BUILD ON!

Check-out My Facebook Page – Ivan Mark Radhakrishnan – and IMR’s Sporting World. There you will find a Global-Football Development, Financial and Marketing GOLD-MINE waiting to be exploited ………… IN THE CORRECT MANNER!
