Hossam Hassan hoping for positive away result at KCCA

Al Masry head coach Hossam Hassan is hoping for a good result when his side face off with KCCA in the opening leg of their 2017 CAF Confederation Cup play off clash.

Hassan spoke to the media upon Al Masry’s arrival in Lugogo, Uganda ahead of the fixture which is scheduled for Saturday, April 8 at Philip Omondi Stadium.

The former footballer and Egyptian legendary started by praising KCCA, that they are a very good side, before he asserted that Al Masry need to bring out their ‘A game’ when the two sides lock horns.

“I think it’s a good team, we need to play good and we hope a good result for us. Maybe if we score here, it will be good for my team”, Hassan said.

The Egyptian Premier League side arrived in Uganda this afternoon, before heading to Philip Omondi Stadium later in the evening to get a feel for the pitch.

The Uganda Premier League champions were relegated to the CAF Confederation Cup after losing to Mamelodi Sundowns. Al Masry qualified to the play offs after beating a Nigerian side Ufeanyi Ubah on penalties in the the first round.
