VIDEO: Coulibaly scores as Al Ahly defeats Petrojet

Ivorian striker Souleymane Coulibaly scores his third league goal, as Al Ahly defeats Petrojet in the 22nd fixture of the Egyptian Premier league.

The Red Devils tried to maintain position and apply pressure on Petrojet early in the game.

Just four minutes before half-time, the Ivorian striker Souleymane Coulibaly managed to open the scoreline as he slotted the ball past Petrojet’s ِAli Farag. His third league goal in his first 7o minutes of Egyptian Premier League football.

Both teams failed to score further goals until the referee blew the half-time whistle.

In the second half, Al Ahly tried to secure their lead by scoring a second goal. In the 78th minute, Walid Soliman secured the three points for the Reds, as he scored Al Ahly’s second goal after dribbling Past Ali Farag and placing the ball in the back of the net.

Following the win, Al Ahly became seven points clear at the top of the league table with 58 points, while Petrojet sits 6th with 33 points.
