Hazem Emam advices Mohamed Salah on Roma departure
Former Egyptian football legend Hazem Emam gave advice to AS Roma striker Mohamed Salah after his future became a subject of scrutiny.
As Roma, are open to his transfer but only if they receive the right offer, according to Calciomercato.it. The club has placed a €40 million price tag on the Egyptian star. This comes after a superb season for the young star in the Seria A in which he scored 14 goals with the Giallorossi with eight matches left this season. He was recently voted Player of the Month for March, in an award voted for by the club’s supporters.
“Salah should stay with Roma for one more season, he is already getting along well with the team,” Emam told Extra News TV channel. “But if he wants to leave he should move to a big club like Juventus or major English or Spanish clubs.”
Emam, who played before for Udinese, advised the 24-year-old not to join a team that is being coached by Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese coach previously gave away important talents like Gonzalo Higuain when he used to manage Real Madrid.
Salah began his career at Arab Contractors and has gone on to play for Basel, Chelsea, and Fiorentina.
