Maaloul called up to Al Ahly squad for Ittihad of Alexandria clash

Al Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry included Ali Maaloul in the team’s squad for Ittihad of Alexandria clash in the 24th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

In addition to Maaloul, who was excluded from the team’s squad for the past two matches, El-Badry included Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi for the first time since an injury that ruled him out for three weeks after Bidvest Wits Champions League match.

Veteran striker Emad Meteb was excluded for the third consecutive match in addition to Saleh Gomaa, Bassem Ali and Hussein El-Sayed for technical reasons. Ahmed Hegazy will also miss the match due to an injury.

Al Ahly Squad:

Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Ahmed Adel, Mohamed El-Shennawy.
Defenders: Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Naguib, Ali Maaloul, Sabry Raheel, Mohamed Hany, Saad Samir, Rami Rabiaa.
Midfielders: Hossam Ashour, Hossam Ghaly, Abdallah El-Said, Amr El-Sulaya, Ahmed Hamoudi, Amr Barakat, Mido Gaber, Momen Zakaria, Walid Soliman.
Forwards: Souleymane Coulibaly, Amr Gamal, Junior Ajayi.

The Red Devils will face Ittihad of Alexandria on Tuesday aiming to ensure their league domination and to widen the gap with Misr El-Maqassa.
