EFA suspend Ismaily’s midfielder, Ahmed Hossam Mido
The competitions committee of the EFA have suspended Wadi Degla’s manager Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ after protesting against the referee of his side’s game against El-Maqassa.
The Former Tottenham forward has been handed a one-match touchline ban by the EFA after he was ordered to leave the touchline for protesting against the referee in Degla’s win over Misr El-Maqassa on Saturday.
The ban will apply to the Wadi Degla’s upcoming Egyptian Premier League game against Smouha on Thursday, April 27.
Mido is not the only coach to be suspended as El-Nasr Lel Taa’deen’s coach Ahmed Ragab was also charged with misconduct over his behaviour towards the referee against Aswan.
Meanwhile, Ismaily’s key player Mohamed Fathy has been banned for three games for his unsporting behavior against ENPPI. Fathy will miss Ismaily’s next three games against Al Masry, Zamalek, and Tanta.
