Ghanaian Bolga All Stars’ owner features in his team’s league match

Abdulai Alhassan, Bolga All Stars FC owner, featured in his team’s draw in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday against Hearts of Oak.

The owner-player was registered by the club during the second transfer window which opened two weeks ago. He became one of few owner-players featuring for a top-flight side in the world after his team drew 3-3 with Hearts of Oak.

Alhassan came in after 65 minutes and helped Bolga All stars lead the game scoring the third goal, but Alexandre Kouassi Kouami equalized for Hearts 15 minutes before the game ended.

It is worth mentioning that Alhassan is also the chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association and serves on the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association. As a football player, he played for former Ghana Premier League side St. Mirren before moving to Dutch side FC Utrecht.

In addition to being a hardcore football fan, Abdelrahman is a communications enthusiast who works in marketing, advertising, content creation and PR.
