Inter planning €60m double swoop for Roma’s duo Salah and Manolas
Inter Milan are reportedly eyeing up a potential double move for AS Roma’s duo Mohamed Salah and Kostas Manolas after they caught the club’s attention.
Inter Milan will look to bolster their squad next summer after a disappointing season, as they find themselves 7th in the league table, 15 points behind the Champions League spots.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reported the Nerazzurri are planning a summer move for Salah and Manolas, but Roma want €40 million for the defender, which is considered excessive by Inter.
Mohamed Salah and Kostas Manolas have been influential for Roma this season, as they have made a combined total of 76 appearances across all competitions.
It’s not the first time Inter have been linked with the Egyptian winger as reports said before that the Nerazzurri might be making a huge bid for Salah which could range between €40-45 million.
The Egyptian was also linked with a return to the English Premier League, as reports mentioned that he has attracted the interest of a number of English clubs.
2016/17 has been, by far, the best campaign for Salah, scoring 17 goals and assisting 12 times as Roma are currently second in the Italian Serie A with 75 points, nine points behind leaders Juventus.
