EFA fines Inacio and Mido
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) competitions committee fined Zamalek manager Augusto Inacio and Wadi Degla manager Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’.
The competitions committee decided to impose a 15,000 EGP fine on Portuguese coach Augusto Inacio as he did not attend the post-match press conference after his team’s game against Tanta in the 25th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The committee also imposed a 5,000 EGP fine on ‘Mido’ for his actions after Wadi Degla match against Smouha. Both clubs, Wadi Degla and Smouha, were also fined 2,000 EGP for not committing to the technical coaching area during the match.
Al Masry’s staff member Mahmoud Gaber was suspended for one match for objecting the referees’ decision.
