Royal Excel Mouscron’s manager Mircea Rednic has announced that he will not be using Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet again this season.

Mircea Rednic has revealed that he won’t depend on loan players in the remaining league game, as they won’t stay with the team next season.

“Diedhiou, Essikal, Miya, and Trezeguet will not be used in the next period. We have to give the players who will stay at the club a chance,” Rednic said.

The Egyptian joined Mouscron last summer on loan form Belgian giants Anderlecht, and reports claim that they will recall Trezeguet to sell him as he is not tactically disciplined enough for their manager.

The former Al Ahly winger is on several European clubs’ radars, after his amazing performances in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations last January, when he helped Egypt reach the final.

It’s worth mentioning that Mouscron are currently fifth in the Europa League play-offs with seven points, 8 points behind leaders Genk.
