Zamalek loanee Mahmoud Kahraba is reportedly in talks with United Arab Emirates side Al Jazira ahead of a possible move to the soon-to-be UAE Gulf Football League champions of the 2016-2017 season.

Ittihad of Jeddah’s board has made it clear that the club wants to keep the services of the Egyptian winger after his impressive displays.

Since joining Ittihad, the 23-year-old scored 16 league goals and helped the team win the Crown Prince Cup, all while participating in the 2017 AFCON and being sidelined due to injury late last year.

The Abu Dhabi-based club will send representatives to Cairo in the coming weeks in order to agree on a deal with Zamalek to sign Kahraba. The club has already contacted Kahraba to convince him to join, and promised him to play in upcoming Club World Cup, which will be played in December of this year in the UAE.

However, Ittihad is still holding onto Kahraba and will also send representatives to negotiate a deal with Zamalek Chairman Mortada Mansour, whose financial demands are too high for the club at the moment.

It is worth noting that current Zamalek board member Hany Zada has confirmed that Kahraba will continue to play abroad next season due to his impressive adaptability and the financial bonuses.
