Ibrahim excluded as Zamalek announce squad for Ismaily clash

Zamalek coach Augusto Inácio has announced his 19-man squad for Ismaily clash in the 27th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Portuguese coach excluded Hossam Salama ‘Paulo’, Shawky El-Said, Islam Gamal and Mohamed Ibrahim from the match for technical reasons.

The squad also witnessed the absence of Ayman Hefny, Ahmed Tawfik and Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh due to injuries. On the other hand, Zambian Striker Emmanuel Mayuka returned to the squad.

Zamalek Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy and Mahmoud Abdel-Rehim ‘Gennesh’
Defenders: Ali Gabr, Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, Osama Ibrahim, Mohamed Nassef, Hosni Fathi
Midfielders: Mahmoud Abdel-Razik ‘Shikabala’, Mahmoud Abdel-Aati Dunga, Moruf Yusef, Ahmed Refaat, Tarek Hamed, Mostafa Fathi, Ibrahim Salah, Salah Rico
Forwards: Emmanuel Mayuka, Bassem Morsi, Ahmed Gaafar, Stanley Ohawuchi

Zamalek, who were held to a goalless draw with Tanta last week, currently occupy the third place in the league standings with 47 points, 16 behind second-placed Misr El-Maqassa. Meanwhile, Ismaily are eighth with 36 points.

The game will take place at PetroSport Stadium on Wednesday at 18:30 CLT.
