Aly Ghazal makes his debut in Guizhou Zhicheng FA Cup defeat
Egyptian midfielder Aly Ghazal made his full debut for Guizhou Zhicheng, as they lost to Shanghai Shenxin 5-3 in the Chinese FA Cup third round.
The 25-year-old moved to Guizhou Zhicheng last January after spending four years with Portuguese side CD Nacional for a fee of €2.6 million.
The Former Wadi Degla midfielder waited about three months to make his first appearance for his new side due to the rules of Chinese FA which only allows three foreigners to play in a Chinese Super League game. Ghazal also sustained a back injury which kept him sidelined for a while.

It’s worth mentioning that Ghazal’s new side have appointed Spanish manager Gregorio Manzano on Thursday to lead the team replacing former China international Li Bing.
Ghazal, who has five international appearances for the Egyptian national team is the first Pharaoh to play in the Chinese Super League with its new form.
