Mohamed Abdel-Wahed leaves Lierse for Egypt Premier League side
Mohamed Abdel-Wahed stay on the Lierse technical bench has come to an end after he opted to work in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Egyptian assistant coach was not the only one to leave the team. Assistant coach Chris Janssens also announced he will not continue with Lierse S.K.

Mohamed Abdel-Wahed will now join the coaching staff of Wadi Degla. The side is ranked ninth in the Egyptian Premier League.
On his departure, Abdel Wahed said, “I chose to return to my family and home country. At Wadi Degla, I get the chance to develop myself as the trainer. I want to thank Lierse for the opportunities I received here, the experience I have gained this season.”
Mohamed Abdel-Wahed made 50 appearances for Zamalek and Lierse, along with featuring for several other clubs. He was part of Egypt’s team at the 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship.
