AS Roma coach praised Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah after the team’s big win against AC Milan in the league.

The former Chelsea winger assisted Roma’s first goal and earned a penalty kick as the Giallorossi thrashed AC Milan 1-4 in the San Siro. Salah and his teammates are up for a tough challenge as they will face league leaders Juventus in the next round.

Spalletti replied Abou-Trika’s beIN Sports TV channel comments in which the Egyptian football legend said that the young Pharaoh should be more aggressive in front of goalkeepers. “Salah is an exceptional player. He is the best player I’ve coached in my career,” Spalletti told the same TV channel.

The coach commented on Salah’s average performance during the match saying that he was exhausted just like most of the team’s players. “I always like to rest some players who are constantly starting but I can’t make them all rest in the same match,” he concluded.

Roma is currently aiming to secure the second place in the Seria A to ensure a spot in the Champions League next season. The Egyptian poacher and his teammates are right behind Juventus and only one point ahead of Napoli.
