Former Zamalek player Ahmed Nasser joins Slavia Prague on trial
Former Zamalek and Ismaily player Ahmed Nasser is undertaking a trial at Czech side SK Slavia Prague, KingFut can confirm.
The Zamalek youth academy product had a three week-trial at Bundesliga side 1. FC Nürnberg last February, but unfortunately couldn’t impress the club officials and therefore didn’t sign a contract.
Nasser is expected to have another trial at another Czech side Viktoria Plzeň after finishing his trials at Slavia Prague, he revealed to KingFut.
The 24-year-old left the White Knights in 2014 to join Ismaily for two years, before joining Ittihad of Alexandria for only one year, but he suffered a tear in his Anterior Cruciate Ligament, which led the Alexandrian club to terminate his contract.
After becoming a free agent last July, Nasser decided to leave to Europe and undergo trials with various clubs.
It’s worth mentioning that Slavia Prague currently top the Czech league table with 62 points with only three games to go, while Viktoria Plzeň sit second, two points behind the league leaders.
