Tanta manager Khaled Eid suspended four games by EFA
The Competitions Committee of the EFA have decided to suspend three Tanta players and their manager Khaled Eid for protesting against the referee in their side’s loss to Ismaily.
Tanta’s manager Khaled Eid and their goalkeeper coach Abdel Raouf Eid have been handed a four-match touchline ban by the EFA for their unsporting behavior against Ismaily last week, while Tanta’s trio Hussein Helmy, Mohamed Sherif, and Ahmed Aboulnour received a three-match suspension for the same reason.
Khaled Eid and the trio will miss their side’s upcoming three games against El-Geish, Arab Contractors, and Nasr Lel Ta’deen.
Meanwhile, the committee have fined Wadi Degla manager Ahmed Hossam Mido, and Arab Contractors manager Mohamed Ouda 20,000 EGP each for their post-game comments.
Al Masry’s assistant manager Ibrahim Hassan has been banned for one game after he was ordered to leave the touchline for protesting against the referee in his side’s cup win against ENPPI on Saturday.
