Mahmoud Trezeguet leaves Mouscron after loan expires
Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ has left Royal Excel Mouscron, after his season-long loan came to an end with the conclusion of the Belgian Pro League season.
Trezeguet, 22, has returned to parent club Anderlecht after spending the season on loan at Royal Excel Mouscron.
The attacker notched seven goals and five assists in his second season in Belgium, impressing for the Mouscron-based club.
It has been widely reported that Anderlecht are looking to offload the player immediately, as he does not seem to feature in manager René Weiler’s plans, with Liverpool cited as a possible destination.
