Zamalek announce squad for Al Ahli Tripoli encounter

Zamalek manager Augusto Inácio has announced his 22-man squad that will travel to Tunisia to face Al Ahli Tripoli in the CAF Champions League group-stages.

The squad witnessed the exclusion of Ayman Hefny, Shawky El-Said for injury, while Islam Gamal, Ahmed Tawfik, Ahmed Gafaar, and Salah Rico were excluded by the Portuguese manager for technical reasons.

On the other hand, Inácio has decided to include Mohamed Magdy, Emmanuel Mayuka, youngster Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh, and Ibrahim Salah.

Al Ahli Tripoli, who are managed by Egyptian manager Talaat Youssef, will face the Whites on Tuesday, May 23 at Stade Chedli Zouiten, Tunisia.

Zamalek Squad: 

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Gennesh, Omar Salah.

Defenders: Mahmoud Hamdy, Ali Gabr, Osama Ibrahim, Mohamed Nassef, Hosny Fathi, Mohamed Magdy, Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh.

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Ibrahim Salah, Mahmoud Dunga, Ahmed Refaat, Mohamed Ibrahim, Moruf Yusuf, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek ‘Shikabala’, Mostafa Fathi.

Forwards: Stanley Ohawuchi, Bassem Morsi, Emmanuel Mayuka, Hossam Paulo.
