REPORT: Elmohamady to reunite with Bruce at Aston Villa?
According to the Sunday People, Aston Villa are being touted as a possible destination for Ahmed Elmohamady.
The Egyptian defender’s Hull City were relegated from the Premier League after finishing in 18th place with 34 points.
The Sunday People are reporting that Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce, who has worked with Elmohamady at Hull City as well as Sunderland, is considering a move for the 29-year-old.
The Englishman seems to have developed a liking for Egyptian players, having previously worked with Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’, Amr Zaki, Hossam Ghaly, Ahmed Nagy Gedo and Ahmed Fathi.
Elmohamady has been called up by Hector Cuper for Egypt’s upcoming training camp, ahead of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash with Tunisia.
