Salah part of Liverpool’s summer signings plan – Report
AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah might be back on Liverpool’s radar as the English Premier League side plan to spend more than £100 million on new signings this summer.
Back in 2014, the Reds wanted to sign Mohamed Salah but the young Pharaoh eventually joined Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. The player evolved tremendously since then with AS Roma in Serie A, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists this season; he was also praised for his performances a number of times by coach Luciano Spalletti.
According to reports, Roma are holding out for €50 million for Salah, while Liverpool are also interested in Red Bull Leipzig’s Naby Keita and Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Italian reports revealed earlier that the 24-year-old is on Inter Milan’s radar and that the club might be making a huge bid for him, especially as former Roma director Walter Sabatini has joined the club and coach Spalletti appears to be close to following suit. It is worth mentioning that the player’s contract with the Giallorossi expires in 2019.
