Injured Zamalek trio to miss Dakhleya match
Ayman Hefny, Shawky El-Said and Eslam Gamal have been ruled out of Zamalek match against Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.
Zamalek director of football Khaled Galal confirmed to Zamalek official website that the injured trio will miss the game in the 30th round of the league.
Galal added that the technical team are looking to have the three players ready ahead of the White Knights clash against USM Alger in the third round of the CAF Champions League group stage on June 2.
The team’s training session saw Hefny train individually, while El-Said continued a rehabilitation program after dislocating his shoulder. Gamal, who is suffering a knee injury, missed the training session.
Zamalek are currently third in the league table on 54 points, with five rounds remaining. They are nine points behind second-placed Misr El-Maqassa and one point clear of Al Masry, who sit fourth. Meanwhile, Dakhleya are in the relegation zone with 24 points.
The White Knights currently sit on top of Group B in the CAF Champions League with four points, after defeating CAPS United and drawing with Al-Ahli Tripoli.
