Hazem Emam: Nabil Maaloul knows everything about Egypt
Retired footballer and current Egyptian Football Association member Hazem Emam assured that Egypt’s upcoming match against Tunisia will be difficult.
Egypt national team will face Tunisia on June 11 in Rades stadium kicking off their qualification road to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon. Both teams have been drawn in Group J, alongside Niger and Swaziland. The Pharaohs will start preparations for the match on June 3 in Alexandria.
“This will be a tough match especially that Nabil Maaloul will be leading Tunisia in his first match with the team. He is a good coach who knows everything about Egyptian football.” the former Zamalek legend said to Radio Hits. “Also, this will be Egypt’s first official match since the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.”
The Eagles Of Carthage managerial hunt has come to an end in April after Nabil Maaloul agreed to become the national team head coach.
“We should all support the national team right now, this will help our players perform well in the match against Tunisia. That will also boost their spirits before returning to the World Cup qualifiers,” he concluded.
