Nassredine Nabi takes Ismaily to FIFA over late dues
Former Ismaily coach Nassredine Nabi officially filed a complaint to FIFA against the club for not getting his late dues.
The Tunisian coach was hired to manage Ismaily in January 2016 replacing resigned Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’. However, after 19 days, Nabi was sacked by the board as the team lost three out of four matches which he led.
Nabi claims that the Ismailia-based club should pay him $44,000 as he should have been given his salary for the month he spent with the team in addition to another one-month salary for his penalty clause after the contract was terminated by the Egyptian club.
Nabi’s complaint to FIFA comes after more than one year of asking the administration to pay him his late dues. The coach claims that the board promised him to solve the problem sooner but they did not keep their word.
