Zamalek announce squad for Dakhleya encounter

Zamalek manager Augusto Inácio has announced his side’s 18-man squad that will face Dakhleya in the 30th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The White Knights will be without some key players when they face Dakhleya on Sunday including Mostafa Fathi and Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim Gennesh who will miss out due to injuries while Tarek Hamed was given two days off.

Injured Ayman Hefny, Shawky El-Said and Eslam Gamal have been ruled out of the Dakhleya match and striker Bassem Morsi was also left out of the squad.

Zamalek Squad: 

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Omar Salah.
Defenders: Osama Ibrahim, Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, Ali Gabr, Mohamed Magdy, Hosni Fathi, Mohamed Nassef.
Midfielders: Moruf Yusuf, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Refaat, Salah Rico, Ahmed Tawfik, Mahmoud Abdel-Aati Dunga, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala.
Forwards: Stanley Ohawuchi, Hossam Paulo, Emmanuel Mayuka.

The White Knights currently sit third in the league standings on 54 points, nine behind second-placed Misr El-Maqassa, who will face leaders Al Ahly on Monday. Zamalek are one point above Al Masry, who sit fourth.

Meanwhile, Dakhleya are in the relegation zone with 24 points.
