Egypt announce full squad for Tunisia clash

Egypt national team head coach Hector Cuper announced the names of 15 local players who will be joining the team’s training camp on June 4 in addition to 10 Pharaohs abroad.

The Pharaohs prepare to play against on June 11 in Rades stadium kicking off their qualification road to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Both teams have been drawn in Group J, alongside Niger and Swaziland. CAF have announced that Morrocan referee Bouchaib Lahrach will officiate the game.

Cuper called up earlier 10 Pharaohs abroad to join the national team excluding Denmark-born Alexander Jakobsen.

Full squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy (Zamalek), Essam El-Hadary (Wadi Degla), Sherif Ekramy (Al Ahly).

Defenders: Ahmed Fathi (Al Ahly), Ahmed Hegazy (Al Ahly), Saad Samir (Al Ahly), Rami Rabia (Al Ahly), Ali Gabr (Zamalek), Mohamed Abdel-Shafy (Al Ahli), Karim Hafez (), Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City), Omar Gaber (FC Basel)

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed (Zamalek), Mostafa Fathi (Zamalek), Abdallah El-Said (Al Ahly), Hossam Ashour (Al Ahly), Ahmed El-Sheikh (Misr El-Maqassa), Mahmoud Kahraba (Zamalek), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal),  (Stoke City), Amr Warda (PAOK FC), Sam Morsy (Wigan Athletic).

Forwards: Amr Gamal (Al Ahly), Mohamed Salah (Roma), Mahmoud Hassan Trézéguet (Anderlecht).
