Morsy returns as Inácio announces squad for USM Alger clash

Zamalek manager Augusto Inácio has announced his 22-man squad for the team’s match against USM Alger, in the third round of 2017 CAF Champions League group stage.

The squad witnessed the exclusion of Ahmed Gafaar, Islam Gamal for technical reasons, while Ayman Hefny and Osama Ibrahim will miss the encounter due to injuries.

Tarek Hamed has been ruled out of Friday’s game as well, due to suspension.

On the other hand, Inácio decided to call Mostafa Fathi, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim Gennesh and Bassem Morsy back to the squad after they were left out in the last match against Dakhleya.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim Gennesh, Omar Salah
Defenders: Mahmoud Hamdy El-Wensh, Ali Gabr, Mohamed Magdy, Hosni Fathi, Mohamed Nassef, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh
Midfielders: Moruf Yusuf, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed Refaat, Salah Rico, Ahmed Tawfik, Mahmoud Abdel-Aati Dunga, Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala, Ibrahim Salah, Mostafa Fathi
Forwards: Stanley Ohawuchi, Hossam Paulo, Emmanuel Mayuka, Bassem Morsy

The match is scheduled for kick-off on Friday night, at the Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria. Zamalek lead Group B with four points, one ahead of USM Alger in second.
