Egypt international Amr Warda played 89 minutes in PAOK’s 2-3 loss to Panathinaikos, marking the end of the Greek League playoffs.

Egyptian forward Amr Warda returned to his side’s starting lineup after the conclusion of his suspension, which kept him out of his teams 1-0 loss to AEK.

The home team seemed to be headed in the right direction as Diego Biseswar scored PAOK’s first goal of the game in the 20th minute. However, Panathinaikos tied the score just eight minutes later through Klonaridis.

PAOK retook the lead in the second half when Pedro Henrique scored in the 68th minute.

The away team did not give up and were able to equalize for the second time through Lod in the 79th minute. Ten minutes later, PAOK manager replaced Amr Warda with midfielder Charis Charisis.

Panathinaikos completed their comeback in the dying minutes as Molina scored their third goal in the third minute of stoppage time.

With this loss, PAOK have failed to qualify to the UEFA Champions League next season but have qualified for the Europa League group stages.
