La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Salah’s agent went to London to negotiate personal terms with Liverpool, claiming that an agreement has already been reached and now it is up for Roma to decide whether to sell the player or not.
The Italian newspaper illustrates that Roma have given club director Franco Baldini the go ahead to probe the possibility of selling the player to different English sides, with the Egypt international speaking with several teammates about a possible move to the Premier League.
Salah still has two years left in his Roma contract. The Giallorossi want around €30-35M in order to sell the winger and make a profit, having bought the former Chelsea player in 2015 for a transfer fee in the vicinity of €20M.
The paper also mentions that Roma have lined up Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi as a possible replacement in the case of Salah’s departure.
