SQUASH: Sherbini stays on top of PSA World Rankings

Egypt’s two-time World Champion  stayed on top of the PSA Women’s World Rankings in June.

For the 14th consecutive time, El Sherbini maintained her position as World No.1 after the June World Rankings were announced, one place ahead of fellow Egyptian Raneem El Welily who she defeated in April’s PSA Women’s World Championship final.

France’s Camille Serme, British Open champion Laura Massaro and World Junior Champion Nouran Gohar completed the top five list, while Malaysia’s eight-time World Champion Nicol David came in sixth place, British Open runner-up Sarah-Jane Perry was ranked seventh, United States No.1 Amanda Sobhy came in eighth place and England’s Alison Waters in the ninth place.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Annie Au moved up one spot to take over New Zealand’s Joelle King’s tenth place. Also, Egyptian player Nour El Tayeb came in the 11th place on spot away from King and the rest of the world’s top 20 is unchanged.
