Salah agrees personal terms with Liverpool – Reports
AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah has reportedly agreed personal terms with Liverpool ahead of a potential summer move.
According to several reports, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, has travelled to London earlier this week to discuss personal terms with Liverpool.
The Premier League giants have already had a £28m offer for the Egyptian international turned down by Roma, with the Italian side insisting they won’t sell him for less than €40 million [£35 million].
The former Chelsea winger, however, has reportedly agreed a £90,000-a-week contract with the Premier League side, which’s almost double what he currently makes with the Serie A side.
Gianluca Di Marzio also claimed that Salah ‘felt very important’ after Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has personally spoken to him to convince him to join the Anfield side.
The 24-year-old still has two years left on his current contract and the Italian side may try to persuade him to stay for at least one more season. He was one of the main reasons behind Roma finishing second in Serie A, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists in 31 league appearances.
Liverpool has made only one signing so far this summer, as Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke is set to join the Reds upon the expiry of his contract with the Blues on July 1.
