AS Roma target Domenico Berardi to replace Salah – Reports
Despite having their initial offer turned down by AS Roma, Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with the Egyptian winger ahead of a potential move this summer, however, Salah’s agent has denied his client travelled to England.
Italian website Pagine Romanista, has reported that AS Roma have started searching for Mohamed Salah’s replacement, with Sassuolo’s winger Domenico Berardi being the club’s first choice target.
The club believes that Berardi’s desire to follow in the footsteps of his manager Eusebio Di Francesco, who has been the main candidate for the AS Roma managerial job, will be make capturing the winger easier.
If Salah joined Liverpool, he will become the second Egyptian player to join a Merseyside club after Ibrahim Said, who moved to Everton in January 2004 from Al Ahly, but failed to make a single appearances for the Toffees.
