Cuper: I made my mind on Egypt’s line up for Tunisia
Egypt national team head coach Hector Cuper said that he already made his mind regarding the starting line up and formation for the Pharaohs’ match against Tunisia.
Cuper announced Egypt’s full squad for Tunisia clash on June 11 in Rades stadium kicking off their qualification road to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
“We suffered in our last friendly against Tunisia. Even though we won the match we lost control of the game sometimes,” the coach told ON Sport TV channel. “They now have a good coach and we don’t know if he will change the team’s strategy in his first game with them or not.” He confirmed that he settled on Egypt’s formation and line up.
As for Anderlecht’s midfielder Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet who was injured in the team’s training camp and will be missing the match, the Argentinian coach said: “I felt sad for his injury, but we’ll try and manage.”
Both teams have been drawn in Group J, alongside Niger and Swaziland. CAF have announced that Morrocan referee Bouchaib Lahrach will officiate the game.
