Report: Galatasaray interested in Trezeguet
Turkey giants Galatasaray are interested in signing Anderlecht winger Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, according to reports in Belgium.
Trezeguet has spent the last season on loan at Belgian Pro League side Royal Excel Mouscron, Scoring seven goals and delivering five assists in all competitions.
However, after the 22-year-old’s arguably successful spell with Mouscron he was destined to return to Anderlecht, who intend to sell Trezeguet as he doesn’t fit into the plans of manager René Weiler.
According to HNL.be, Galatasaray and Trezeguet’s former club Al Ahly are interested in signing the Egypt international, as the player heads towards an exit from Anderlecht with the Belgian side hoping to recoup the €2.5m they paid to exercise Trezeguet’s buyout option from Al Ahly.
