Zamalek announce squad for Aswan clash

Zamalek head coach Augusto Inacio announced the team’s squad for their encounter against Aswan in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday.

The squad that will face Aswan in the 31st fixture excluded a number of injured players like Ayman Hefny, Hossam Paolo, Salah Rico and Mohamed Ibrahim, while Inacio decided to exclude Mohamed Magdy, Osama Ibrahim, Eslam Gamal, Ali Fathy and Ahmed Gafaar for technical reasons.

The White Knights are currently in third place with 57 points, only three points away from Al Masry. Winning the match is essential for the team as they aim to snatch second place from Misr El-Maqassa.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Ahmed El-Shennawy, Mahmoud Genesh.

Defenders: Mahmoud Hamdy “El Wensh”, Shawky El-Said, Hosni Fathy, Ahmed Aboul-Fetouh, Ali Gabr.

Midfielders: Moruf Youssef, Mohamed Mosaad, Shikabala, Mahmoud Dunga,  Tarek Hamed, Mostafa Fathi, Ahmed Tawfiq, Ahmed Refaat

Attackers: Stanley Ohawuchi, Emmanuel Mayuka, Bassem Morsi
