EXCLUSIVE | Trezeguet considers terminating Anderlecht contract
Egypt international Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ is considering the termination of his contract at RSC Anderlecht.
Following his rough stint with the Belgian giants, the 22-year-old is considering the termination of his contract at Anderlecht, KingFut can confirm.
Trezeguet joined Anderlecht in the summer of 2015 on a 4-year deal, having made only eight appearances for the team in the 2015/16 season.
The player was loaned to relegation strugglers Royal Excel Mouscron last season and enjoyed a superb campaign, playing an integral part in the team’s bid to stay in the Pro League, making 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven and assisting five goals.
Despite his season, Rene Weiler remains adamant the player is not part of his future plans.
The player is considering taking a similar route to Mathias Suarez who prematurely terminated his contract at Anderlecht last season.
According to reports, Anderlecht would demand a figure close to €2 million in case they were to sell the player, having signed him for an excess of €3 million two years ago from Al Ahly.
Trezeguet has attracted a lot of interest especially from clubs in Germany and Turkey while his former club Al Ahly expressed their willingness to take their star back.
The winger was a starter for the Egyptian national team that managed to finish the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations as runners-up behind winners Cameroon.
