Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, known as Monchi, confirmed the presence of an offer for Salah, but hinted that it is not sufficient, which made Liverpool submit a revised bid for the Egyptian’s services, which was satisfactory to demands.
KingFut understands a deal for Salah has been struck at a record-breaking fee in the range of €45 million including add-ons, after the Italian side demanded a figure over £40 million to part ways with the Egyptian international.
Salah had a brilliant season with the Giallorossi, recording 15 goals and 13 assists in 31 league appearances, guiding Roma to the second place in Serie A, which guaranteed them a place in the UEFA Champions League next season.
It is worth noting that the former Chelsea winger was one of only eight players in Europe’s top five leagues to record double figures for goals and assists last season.
