Club Brugge to sign Zimbabwe’s Marvelous Nakamba pending medical
Club Brugge have reached an agreement with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem to sign Zimbabwe international Marvelous Nakamba.
The Belgian giants announced on Tuesday that the 23-year-old defensive midfielder will sign a four-year deal pending a medical.
“Club has reached an agreement with Vitesse Arnhem over the transfer of defensive midfielder Marvelous Nakamba,” Club Brugge announced in a statement on their official website, describing the Zimbabwe international as an “energetic midfielder with quality passing and impressive power in duels.”
Nakamba, who joined Vitesse in 2014 from French side AS Nancy, won the KNVB Cup with the Dutch side last season as they beat AZ Alkmaar 2-0.
He was on the radar of several other clubs including Turkish side Galatasaray and Belgian club Anderlecht.
