VIDEO: Zamalek target Emmauel Banda joins Oostende
Zambia U-20 midfielder Emmanuel Banda has switched sides from Sporting Esmoriz in Portugal to Belgium at KV Oostende.
The 19-year-old youngster, penned a 3-year contract with the Belgium Pro League side, a stint set to go all the way to the summer of 2020.
Egyptian Premier league giants Zamalek had set their eyes on Emmanuel Banda and their verbal approach with the player was turned down, Kingfut.com understands.
In addition, Esmoriz had demanded a fee of at least $300,000 back in January, a price which the Whites were reluctant to pay to a fourth division side.
KV Oostende officially comfirmed the sealing of this deal through their social media channels. Meanwhile, Banda comfirmed the move in a video posted on their official Twiiter account.
