Serie A club F.C. Crotone are currently inquiring about Zamalek’s Mostafa Fathi for a possibility of signing the young winger.

KingFut sources confirmed that F.C. Crotone are interested in Fathi and an official bid might be submitted soon. This is not the first Italian offer for the skillful player as the Whites rejected an offer from Torino to sign the 23-year-old earlier this year after the offer was deemed low by the club’s board.

Also, last year Fathi received an offer from Bologna and was linked with Palermo in August 2016. Fathi also attracted interest from Swiss giants FC Basel who sent a scout to watch him in action last year. The player was also reportedly a subject of interest from LOSC Lille.

It is still not clear if Crotone will be offering to buy Fathi permanently or offering a loan deal as the Italian club will need to know first whether Zamalek are ready to sell the player or not.

Crotone was promoted to the Italian top flight Serie A, for the 2016–17 season for the first time since the club was founded in 1910. They managed to avoid relegation after their first season finishing in the 17th place with 34 points, two points away from relegated Empoli.
