Stanley Ohawuchi close to joining Saudi side Qadisiyah – Report
Nigerian forward Stanley Ohawuchi is close to joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadisiyah, according to Saudi news reports.
The 27-year-old striker joined Cairo giants Zamalek from Egyptian outfit Wadi Degla on a season-long loan in August 2016.
The Nigerian forward is the White Knights top scorer in the CAF Champions League this season, scoring three goals and assisting one goal. He is also joint top scorer with Bassem Morsy across all competitions with nine goals.
According to a report by Saudi website Arriyadiyah, the Qadisiyah’s board have already reached an agreement with Stanley but are delaying the official announcement due to the player’s ongoing commitments with Zamalek.
Zamalek will play Ittihad of Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League on Thursday before facing Al Ahli Tripoli in their final group stage match in the CAF Champions League on July 9. The final league match against league champions Al Ahly will be played on July 17.
Qadisiyah finished the Saudi Pro League last season in the 10th place after collecting 28 points.
