Asamoah Gyan joins Kayserispor on a two-year contract

Ghanaian International striker Asamoah Gyan has completed his move to Turkish club Kayserispor after signing a two year contract with the club.

Kayserispor have released a statement confirming that the club has agreed personal terms with the Ghanaian Striker, who joined from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG on a two-year contract.

Asmaoah Gyan has spent last season with Al Ahli Dubai United Arab of Emirates, on loan from Shanghai SIPG.

The move marks the return of the Ghana’s all-time leading scorer to European football after five-year absence, where he last featured for Sunderland in 2012. He had been playing in Asia since then featuring for Al-Ain, Al Ahli Dubai in UAE, and Shanghai SIPG in China.

Gyan is Ghana’s all time top goal scorer, and is still active for his national side in a storied 14 year senior career.
