OFFICIAL: Trezeguet completes move to Turkish club Kasimpasa
Egyptian international Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ has completed his move to Turkish club Kasimpasa, as first reported by KingFut.
The wide midfielder had spent the last season on loan at Royal Excel Mouscron from Anderlecht, where he had played the previous season. In light of a potential termination of contract, it appears all sides were able to come to an agreement in order for the move to go through.
Trezeguet joins the club on a one-year loan with an option to buy. Should Kasimpasa choose to sign the player, it would take the deal to a total fee of €2 million.
Kasimpasa finished comfortably midtable last season, but were never in contention for a European spot. Trezeguet will be looking to aid the team with his dribbling ability from wide areas and will also look to improve his goal tally from last year, which saw him score 7 goals for Belgian side Mouscron.
Trezeguet is an important member of the Egyptian national team, featuring heavily at the 2017 AFCON for the Egyptian side that got to the finals. He will look to cement his place in the Kasimpasa side in order to retain his position with the national team.
